About the Client
Since 1985, CCI Greenheart has offered cultural exchange programs in the U.S. that connect Americans with international students. As the leading nonprofit cultural exchange sponsor that blends service learning and volunteerism into all of our programs, we are effectively creating a community of compassionate and conscious global citizens.

My Role
The client came with a big mission, to re-think the whole site in terms of UX/UI. The first step was to analyze the old site, detect errors and promote successes, considering it is a site with more than 50,000 visits a month we had sufficient metrics on which to build. In parallel and after analysis, I had several meetings to define new functions, renew old functions, and to plan a visual approach, that would satisfy the user needs.

UX & Wireframes: We defined the goals and instruments of the redesign and the sitemap, the next step was to define the framework of the new website. The main challenge was to adapt to the diversity of users who access the site with different objectives while simplifying the user flow on different platforms. I created dozens of wireframed pages to determine the right page content and design layout.

Design: After a period of inspiration, I focused on the design. It took 4 weeks to create designs for each section, page, setting, and each interactive element separately. The design is fully responsive and it fits the clients values and goals.
Once the designs were submitted to the development team I did extensive supervision to ensure that the implemented result was true to the designs approved by the client.
